Silt or Sewage

When a storm moved into Iowa early in July torrential rains fell on cell on Marshalltown As the storm passed many were beginning to realize getting to realize they had water in their basements some dealt with the loss of power which caused some pumps to fail some hot water add water seeping through the foundation and some had water go through their basement windows When some pumps failed the homeowners thought sewage began to back up through the drains. Fortunately, when our trained professionals here at SERVPRO of Marshalltown arrived we quickly realized it was not sewage but silt which completely changed everything. We quickly removed the affected materials and got the floors cleaned.
