Jeff Short

Jeff Short is the General Manager of SERVPRO of Marshalltown. He has certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Certification  (IICRC) in water, mold and fire. He believes in honesty and hard work. His community involvements include the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Mentor Iowa. He likes to spend time with his family, and enjoys youth sports coaching in baseball and football, loves fishing, and the outdoors.

Don Stokesbarry

Don Stokesbarry is our Operations Manager at SERVPRO. He has almost twenty years of experience in restoration and over 25 years experience in cleaning. Don is certified with a journeymen status by the IICRC and working towards master status in applied structural drying, carpet and upholstery cleaning, carpet repair and reinstallation, water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, odor restoration, and mold remediation. In his past he was a certified EMT and firefighter. Don believes in hard work and being on time. Don is the father of 10 children and in his free time he enjoys attending school events, golfing, football and volunteer work.

Lori Newhouse

Lori Newhouse is our Office Manager at SERVPRO of Marshalltown. She has over ten years experience in office operations and customer service. She has spent time in the field as a SERVPRO Tech, which gives her experience in water and fire restoration as well as demolition and reconstruction work. Lori believes in always staying positive and loves to cheer on the team at SERVPRO. In her free time she loves hanging out with her family, spending time playing with her dog, and doing DIY projects around the house. She is involved in youth sports and supports animal rehabilitation and rescue.

Carrie Bartmess

Carrie Bartmess is our Project Manager and is certified in water damage restoration and fire and smoke restoration. She grew up in Iowa and has experience with roofing and remodeling. She enjoys swimming and hiking with her husband and kids at area parks. Her favorite aspect of working at SERVPRO of Marshalltown is the constant problem-solving and different variables that each situation presents. She likes the continual learning that comes from the stimulating and challenging work.

Jaxson Williams

Jaxson Williams is a Crew Chief, certified in water damage restoration. His previous experience includes 6 years in the Army as an infantryman in a recon unit. He also taught combat training at West Point. He knows how to work calmly under pressure and reassure customers who are in stressful situations. He has a black belt in tae kwon do and loves animals, especially his two dogs and one cat. His favorite aspect of working at SERVPRO of Marshalltown is never knowing what the day will bring - whether it's confronting a raccoon in an attic or some other interesting surprise.

Nathan Murray

Nathan Murray is a Crew Chief and is certified in water damage restoration and applied structural drying. He's gained a well-rounded skill set from a wide variety of past work experience, including managing a herd of 90 horses for an equine biologics company and driving combines for a seed research company. He enjoys camping, biking, running and tinkering with motorcycles. What he likes most about working at SERVPRO of Marshalltown is that every job is a new puzzle to figure out. He believes in understanding where customers are coming from and doing his best to be as accommodating as possible.

Dan Burke

Dan Burke is a Crew Chief for SERVPRO of Marshalltown. He enjoys artistic woodworking and gardening. Dan believes in good communication and honest work. His favorite aspect of working for SERVPRO is how the changing situations always keep him on his toes. He likes how the work keeps him engaged and looking forward to the next opportunity.
